Nigerian forward Isaac Success has expressed his gratitude to Udinese’s manager Luca Gotti for believing him.
Gotti vetoed Success’ transfer to the club from Premier League side Watford and has rewarded the striker with two appearances already.
Success scored his first goal for the Bianconeri in the 1-1 draw against Hellas Verona at the Stadio Friuli on Wednesday.
Reacting to his performance, Success said he’s, grateful to the coach for welcoming him with open arms and making him feel at ease.
“The Coach is a great man and has a great personality, all the staff are of great help to everyone and even before arriving I spoke to the coach and I immediately felt at ease.
The former Granada forward also revealed what his teammates told him, before the kick-off.
“Before the game, my teammates loaded me up, then I know my qualities and I know what contribution I can give to the team, I play with confidence and I always try to do my best,” Success told the club’s official website.
Udinese have drawn their last three games and they will attempt to cause a major upset when they take on Inter Milan at the Giuseppe Meaza on Sunday.
