Nigeria will engage Costa Rica in an international friendly in the country’s capital, San Jose on 10th November.
The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) announced the friendly via its social media handle on Thursday.
Jairo Pachon, the FIFA Match Agent of the NFF on stated that, “Nigeria have been invited to the Central American nation as part of major activities to send forth the Los Ticos to the FIFA World Cup finals in Qatar.”
The game will be played at the National Stadium in San Jose, the capital city of Costa Rica, and will kick off at 8pm local time ( which is 3am, Nov. 10 in Nigeria).
On November 17, the Super Eagles are scheduled to face Portugal in Lisbon in another friendly.
Both games are part of Costa Rica and Portugal’s build up to the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
