Southampton striker Michael Obafemi has been ruled out for the rest of the season due to a hamstring injury he sustained against Arsenal.
The 18-year-old who ignored Nigeria to become a Republic of Ireland international has been struggling with hamstring injuries all season and he only featured for just 20 minutes in the 2-0 Premier League defeat at the Emirates on Sunday.
Southampton manager Ralph Hasenhuttl who is charged with the responsibility of keeping the Saints in the top flight division will now have to do without the Irish forward.
