The Black Stars of Ghana could be without Baba Rahman and Kamaldeen Sulemana for the final FIFA World qualifying round against Nigeria later this month.
According reports, Baba Rahman and Kamaldeen Suleimana are currently nursing injuries which could keep them out of the ties.
The duo were not involved in their club games over the weekend and no date has been fixed for their possible return.
Baba Rahman last played for Reading on February 19 against Preston North End, Kamaldeen Sulemana was left out of Rennes game against Angers last weekend.
Meanwhile, Rennes manager Bruno Génésio disclosed that he can’t go into the details of Kamaldeen Sulemana’s injury, but expects him to remain on treatment table for a while.
“No, it’s not a blow, he has what is called isthmic lysis. I’m not a doctor so I’m not going to go into details but it’s a small crack in a vertebra in the back.
“It’s quite annoying. We don’t know too much (for the duration of unavailability) but it can take time”, Genesio gave an update on the injury situation of the 19-year-old.
Their injury is big blow to the Coach Otto Addo and his Black Stars who are hoping to upset the Super Eagles in the crucial encounter.
Ghana will host the first leg at the Cape Coast Stadium on March 25 while the second will hold at Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja on March 29.
