Watford’s midfielder, Tom Dele-Bashiru has been diagnosed with an ankle ligament damage and will be out of action for at least four weeks.
Dele-Bashiru the damage in the Hornets 4-0 defeat to Swansea City and it’s a set back for the midfielder who recently returned from six months spell on the sideline with a knee injury.
Speaking ahead of Monday’s league clash with Norwich City at Carrow Road, manager Slaven Bilic was unhappy with the situation.
“Tom Dele-Bashiru sustained ankle ligament damage in a challenge at Swansea and is set for a spell of at least a couple of months on the sidelines.
“It adds to an extraordinary list of midfielders currently in the treatment room; contact injuries during matches accounting for more than half of those.”
Dele-Bashiru has played six league appearances for the London club this season, including three after returning from the previous injury.
