Infinix Empowers Rising Entrepreneurs

Over the years, Infinix has continued to support young Nigerians in diverse fields. Ranging from entertainment, to fashion and business, several young individuals in all of these fields have benefited from various empowerment initiatives designed by Infinix.

Asides from finding the perfect team to help in achieving the business goal and a host of other critical issues, getting adequate funding remains one of the major concerns of entrepreneurs till date.

Today, there are thousands of young individuals with business ideas locked up in their minds. Some have mapped out well-detailed plans to creatively solve certain problems faced by others in their day-to-day lives. However, they lack the capital to get things rolling or scale up their operations (in the case where they’ve managed to lift their plans off the ground).
With this understanding, Infinix has made it a point of duty to, seasonally, search for entrepreneurs with brilliant ideas and empower them.

During the first half of 2019, Infinix organized the “Empowered by Infinix S4”campaign.  The campaign was focused on empowering entrepreneurs in selected industries. Part of these industries included; technology, fashion and agriculture.

One of the lucky winners from the campaign was Gloria Chisom Nwafor, a 25-year-old catfish farmer and a graduate of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, who walked away with 1,000,000 (one million naira) worth of empowerment funds to scale up her fish farm business. Several other participants with other interests such as Adeyinka Awara CEO Kinkee – Grey Fashion house also enjoyed support from the brand and were able to fuel their passions.

After several empowerment activities in other fields like fashion (styled by Infinix S5), Photography (InfinixZero8VisionMaster Challenge), and entertainment (StormX), Infinix has decided to beam the light on entrepreneurs again.

This month, Infinix is helping young entrepreneurs reach their business goals with FREE business training and empowerment funds through the “Empowered by Infinix Note 8” activity.

To be one of the beneficiaries of this initiative, Infinix has requested that interested parties do the following;

1. Send a well detailed business plan to @infinixnigeria on any social media platform, showing how you will invest 2million naira in your business.
2. Use the hashtag #EmpoweredByInfinixNOTE8 in your post and gather engagements on your entry to be selected for an offline presentation.
3. Winners will be announced shortly after the offline presentation.

Through this initiative, more young individuals will be getting the much-needed boost into their preferred career paths. Interested parties can take advantage of this opportunity by following the steps above.
