Chairman of the International Table Tennis Federation nomination committee Waheed Oshodi has stated that improved coaching will help improve the quality of the game and players coming through from Nigeria as all that is needed is a bit of more techniques in the way Nigerian players play.
Oshodi speaking on Nigeria’s outing at the just concluded international table tennis federation said in a chat with brila.net that the Nigerian players are talented and will with the right level of coaching gets better.
“Of course there is room for improvement and we must commend Aruna Quadri for getting to the round of 32 considering he’s been injured for a while that is a great performance for him, Ajoke Ojomu the junior Nigerian player also did well for herself.
The hopes are there. I think there is room for improvement and we are on the right track if we can get the right coaching.”
