Imama Amapakabo arrested on Orders of Enugu Rangers

Super Eagles assistant coach Imama Amapakabo has been detained by police in Abuja on the orders of his former employers, Enugu Rangers for holding on to official properties months after he was sacked by the club.

Imama was held by the Police in Abuja after the club ordered for repossession of “the club’s official car and the keys to his official accommodation.”

As per Festus Chuma [soka25east] Rangers CEO, Christian Chukwu disclosed that the police acted on the request of Rangers to recover Enugu State government properties still being held by the coach.

“It is three months now since Imama left Rangers after he was relieved of his managerial role,” Chukwu was quoted in an interview with Sport Baila FM by Festus Chuma.

“He left with the club’s official car and the keys to his official accommodation.

“We have written to him three times to return the vehicle and house keys, but he has refused to comply.

“Right now our chief coach does not have an official car.

“The owner of the house has been asking us to come and remove our things and surrender the keys.

“But we cannot do that in the absence of Imama who owns the items in the house” the Rangers CEO stated.
