Nigeria Under 23 team will continue their preparations for the U-23 African Cup with friendly game against Nasarawa United this Wednesday.
The dream Team was involved in a friendly with NNL Niger Tornadoes in Abuja on Tuesday and the game ended in a draw.
The Imama Amakapabo team are in last lap of their preparations towards the Olympic qualifying tournament in Egypt and a win will put the team in the right frame of mind.
The Media Officer of the team, Shariff Abd’Allah told SportingLife that the players are raring to go knowing that the list of the players who will travel to Egypt will be made known immediately after then.
“We will play against Nasarawa United tomorrow (today) and it is our final friendly game before we get off to Egypt,” Abd’Allah said.
The media officer also confirmed that the final list to the tournament will be made public.
“The final 21 list of players that will represent Nigeria will also be made public after the game. We have some players on ground here while there are a few also who will be joining us from their base in Europe.” he said.
