Nigeria-eligible Edna Imade extended her impressive goal-scoring form as Granada demolished Deportivo La Coruña 5-0 in a dominant league performance on Saturday.
The hosts took an early lead when Laura Perez powered home a header in the 16th minute. Just 10 minutes later, Isabel Alvarez capitalized on a goalmouth scramble to double Granada’s advantage.
Cristina Postigo made it 3-0 with a well-placed shot inside the box in the 49th minute, before Ornella Vignola added a fourth just two minutes later.
Imade, continuing her strong season, sealed the win with a clinical finish on the hour mark, receiving a pass from Perez and firing a right-footed strike into the net.
The goal marked her eighth in 12 league appearances this season for Granada.
The win lifted Granada to 8th place in the league standings with 16 points after 12 matches.
The team will next host Madrid CFF on December 14.
