Defender Ashleigh Plumptre reiterates her commitment to the Nigerian Senior Women’s football team, Super Falcons.
The defender was born in England and played for the junior Lionesses, but switching allegiance to Nigeria.
The left back became one of the success story at the World Cup, starting every of Nigeria’s game, including against her country of birth England.
Plumptre, in a statement said, she’s grateful for the opportunity to donn the Green and White colors of Nigeria and learn more about her root.

Plumptre is currently a free agent after leaving Leicester City following expiration of her contract.
She’ll be hoping to sign for a new team in the coming days.
