I’m not giving up, My Time will come – Dele Alampasu

Super Eagles and CD Feirense goalkeeper, Dele Alampasu has revealed that he is not giving up hope on his present ‘lack of game time’ predicament.

In a chat with brila.net, Alampasu confirmed that it is frustrating but he will keep working hard and learning till he gets his chance.

“It’s actually frustrating getting overlooked most times, but I’m not giving up,” The goalkeeper told brila.net.

According to the 21-year-old goalie, Being overlooked by both National team and Club Managers has seen game time hard to come by for him with both country as well as his club in Portugal.

Alampasu, however, added that due to his young age, he has to sit on the bench and learn from older and more experienced shot-stoppers in his club, while he believes everything will soon change for the better.

The Former Nigeria U17 international Dele Alampasu was handed the number one jersey at Portuguese Primeira Liga outfit CD Feirense at the beginning of the current season.

That is not to say that Dele was made the first-choice goalkeeper at Feirense, but it is a clear indication that he is in the plans of manager Nuno Santos.
