Watford striker Emmanuel Dennis says he’s delighted to play alongside Senegalese forward Ismaïla Sarr.

Dennis made a wonderful start to his Premier League career by scoring a goal and assisted another in Saturday’s 3-2 win over Aston Villa at Vicarage Road.

The former Club Brugge man gift The Hornets the lead inside opening 10th minute when he converted a pass from Ismaila Sar.

However, The 23-year-old returned the favour when set up Ismaila Sar to score the second goal for Watford in front of their own crowd.

In a chat with the Club’s official website, the striker said he’s enjoying sharing pitch with his fellow African.

“We get along well in training when we play together and I know he’s going to be really important for me if I’m going to be in the number nine,” he told the club’s official website.

“I’m really happy with the combination. It’s a process, so I’m really happy we started in a good way and we keep working.”

On his debut goal, The Nigeria international said, the memories will stay with him for the rest of his life.

“I’ll remember this for all my life,” he said. “I’m speechless; I don’t know what to say!”

“I’m really happy because we’ve been working hard for a really long time so I’m happy we could give the fans a good performance and they can go home smiling.” He concluded.
