Forward Rinsola Babajide made her maiden appearance for the Super Falcons of Nigeria on Wednesday.
The former Real Betis star was introduced for her debut in the second half of Nigeria’s first leg 2024 Olympics Women’s Football qualifier against Lucy of Ethiopia.
Babajide who represented her country of birth — England at junior level before switching allegiance to Nigeria, says she’ll forever be proud of her debut.
“Proud moment for me & my family making my debut! 25.10.23 A date to cherish forever. ” She wrote on her X account.
The 25-year-old Granadilla Tenerife star will make his home debut when Super Falcons host Ethiopia for the second leg at MKO Abiola National Stadium in Abuja.
