Former Chelsea, Liverpool, and Stoke City forward Victor Moses is frustrated, after sustaining an Achilles tendon injury over the weekend.
The winger sustained the injury during Spartak Moscow’s league game against Ural over the weekend.
According to the club, Moses will undergo surgery and he’s expected to be out of action for at least six months.
Speaking for the first time since sustaining the injury, Moses, 31, expressed his gratitude to the supporters and pledged to be back and better.
“Devastated to have suffered an injury in the game at the weekend.”
“I will be doing all I can to recover and get back fully fit as quickly as possible to help the team thank you so much to everyone at the club and all of the fans for your fantastic support.”
Moses has two goals for the Russian giants this season.
