The Super Eagles injury list keeps growing and only on Wednesday goalkeeper Ikechukwu Ezenwa was added to the roll call and sadly, will miss Sunday’s final against Morocco.

Ezenwa clattered into his defender and a onrushing Sudan player in the first half of the semi-final clash at the Stade de Marrakech.

Giving the update on Nigeria’s camp since the nervy win against Sudan, media officer Toyin Ibitoye said the 29-year-old “might not recover quickly enough for the final.”

In a phone interview with Babafemi Raji on Brila FM’s Sports Machine, Ibitoye disclosed the team will be involved in recovery training early on Thursday.

Later at noon, the team will travel for the final leg of their campaign in Morocco, as they head out to the venue of Sunday’s final in Casablanca.
