Leicester City have been eliminated from this season’s EFL Cup following the 3-1 defeat to Liverpool at Anfield on Wednesday.

The duo of Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfred Ndidi were involved in the game, with the former starting, while the latter was introduced in the second half.

Iheanacho who has been in excellent form in the competition couldn’t come up with a goal and was replaced in the 64th minute.

The striker was among the Enzo Maresca’s players with poor rating from the game.

It was Leicester City’s second defeat across all competitions this season.

With Leicester City out of Carabao Cup, the Foxes will now turn their attention to the Championship and FA Cup duties.

In another venue, Frank Onyeka and his Brentford teammates were also shown the exit door from the competition by Arsenal.

Onyeka was on the pitch from the start and saw his side bow out after a 1-0 at the Emirates.
