Super Eagles duo of Wilfred Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho are on the plane to Spain with the rest of their Leicester City teammates for a four-day training camp ahead of an FA Cup clash against Chelsea on Sunday, March 18.
Leicester City are jetting to Spain to prepare for next weekend’s FA Cup quarter-final with Chelsea.
Claude Puel’s men are flying out to a warm-weather training camp near Marbella to prepare for their biggest game of the season.
It will also be good preparation for the final eight games of the season with City still in with a good chance of claiming a Europa League qualification spot.
City have been boosted by their 4-1 victory over West Brom on Saturday which kept them in touch with Burnley, who are seventh and enjoyed another victory at West Ham United.
Puel said the trip would ensure they were ready for the challenges ahead.
“It’s a good opportunity for the squad to spend some time together and to make sure we are well prepared both for next weekend’s game and for the final eight Premier League matches of the season,” said Puel.
