Super Eagles stars, Wilfred Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho featured in Leicester City’s embarrassing 4-1 defeat to Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium on Sunday.

Both Super Eagles stars started the game, but they were helpless as the rampaging Cherries put them to the sword to put their hope of Champions league qualifications at risk.

Vardy gave the Foxes the lead in the first half, but the team endured their worse second-half performance ever as they put their foot off the gas.

Former Liverpool and Chelsea forward Dominic Solanke bagged a brace for the Cherries with Junior Stanislas and Johnny Evans (own goal) scoring the other goals.

Kelechi Iheanacho was substituted during the half time, but Ndidi remained a shadow of himself as he was lucky to avoid a red card for the second bookable offense.

The 24-year-old was yellow-carded in the 64th minute in the 29 league appearances for the Foxes this season.

The former Genk midfielder also conceded a penalty, which was converted by Junior Stanislas.

Leicester is the first side to have a player sent off, concede a penalty and score an own goal in a single Premier League game since Wolves against Man City in January 2019.
