Super Eagles striker, Kelechi Iheanacho made his first appearance for Sevilla on Sunday during a preseason friendly against Liverpool at Anfield.

Liverpool dominated the first half, taking a commanding 3-0 lead with goals from Diogo Jota and a brace from Luis Diaz.

Kelechi Iheanacho only played for 45 minutes of the match as he was substituted at half-time.

His fellow Nigerian, Chidera Ejuke, came on as a second-half substitute, dribbled past Trent Alexander-Arnaud and assisted Gerard Fernandez to score their lone goal of the match, bringing the scoreline to 3-1.

Liverpool’s 17-year-old talent, Trey Nyoni, sealed the victory for the Reds with a well-executed half-volley, making it 4-1 by the final whistle.

Sevilla will now turn their focus to the start of the La Liga season, where they will face Las Palmas at the Gran Canaria Stadium on Friday.
