Kelechi Iheanacho got another 45 minutes of pre-season action under belt, following up Tuesday’s game against Scunthorpe with Saturday’s action against Cheltenham.
Iheanacho was brought on as a sub on Tuesday at Glanford Park, but got Manager Brendan Roger’s nod to start Saturday’s friendly against another League Two side.
However, the Nigerian failed to hit the back of the net for a second consecutive game.
He did come close though, hitting the cross bar from a close range header.
Here’s that early chance for @67Kelechi 😲
