Ighalo scored three times to help Al Wehda recorded an emphatic 3-1 over their visitors on Saturday.

The former Watford FC player started the scoring spectacle in the 3rd minute, only for Fabio Martins to level the game for Al Khaleej with a 22nd-minute penalty.

Undeterred by the equalizer, Ighalo surged ahead, reclaiming the lead for his team in the 58th minute.

Ighalo then ultimately secured his hat-trick with a precisely executed spot kick in the 80th minute, sealing the match with a decisive 3-1 scoreline.

Since joining the Saudi Arabia Pro League, the former Nigerian international has etched his name as a prominent figure, notably emerging as the leading goal-scorer for both Al Shabab and Al Hilal SC.
