Super Eagles striker, Odion Ighalo expects the new Chinese Super League season to be the most competitive yet and is excited to lead the line for Changchun Yatai.
Ighalo spoke with brila.net ahead of this weekend’s season opener against Shanghai Shenhua, where he faces the prospect of coming up against fellow 2018 world cup hopeful Obafemi Martins.
Last season Martins fired Shenhua to Cup glory, while Ighalo registered an impressive 15 goals in his debut season despite several injury setbacks.
The latter is hopeful his team will go all the way this season for a major silverware.
