Sunshine stars midfielder Esosa Igbinoba has exonerated players of the home-based Eagles from any form of blame despite losing a second time to Togo to get knocked out of running for the competition proper citing the team’s problem as one obvious to all.
Igbinoba speaking in a chat with www.brila.net said the team couldn’t have offered anything special with no games under the player’s belt.
He said the players have not been in competitive shape due to lack of no league action.
“Don’t blame the players, you just called people under three or four days in the league. Most of them are match rusty now, they’ve not played for long. When the team is doing well anybody can score but when the team is not doing well, it’s hard for anybody to score.
