The 25 year-old exited the Australian Open in the third round and the US Open in the quarter-finals. She also failed to win Wimbledon.

Swiatek however secured one Grand Slam title this year, winning her third French Open at Roland Garros in June.

The women’s world number one is now in search of a new coach to replace Wiktorowski.

Swiatek and Wiktorowski began their partnership in 2022, during which they claimed three Grand Slam titles together, including three consecutive victories at the French Open.

Under Wiktorowski’s guidance, Swiatek made history as the first Polish player to reach world number one in April 2022, holding the top spot for a total of 123 weeks.

She also recorded an impressive 37-match winning streak, the longest by a female player in the 21st century.
