Goalkeeper Francis Uzoho finally broke his silence on Tuesday after back to back errors in the color of Super Eagles of Nigeria.
The goalkeeper, in cryptic message on Snapchat appeared unapologetic, in fact hitting out at fans for criticising his performance.
Uzoho came under the hammer after unimpressive displays against Saudi Arabia when he diverted a cross into his own net.
He then followed it up with another error leading to Mozambique‘s opener on Monday.
Fans have now called Jose Peseiro to drop the Omonia SC stopper from the squad.
In response, the 24-year-old took to his Snapchat story Uzoho posted a picture of himself, and captioned it: “Do it if it’s easy, make oyinbo man sign you.”
Uzoho isn’t new to .asking high profile errors, especially in the color of Super Eagles.
Last year, his error costs the Super Eagles a place in last year’s FIFA World Cup, when he made a mess of Thomas Partey’s shot in the final playoff.
head coach, Jose Peseiro, has continued to back Uzoho as his first choice.
