Ibrahim Gusau willing to comply with EFCC on Puma scam deal allegations

Athletic Federation of Nigeria president Engr Ibrahim Gusau said he’s ready to turn himself in for further questioning in the ongoing AFN miss appropriation of funds saga.

The embattled athletics administrator was accused to have embezzled part of Athletic Federation of Nigeria’s kitting deal with Puma and was dragged to the EFCC who later cleared him of any wrong doing.

Speaking told the media in AFN world press conference on Sunday, Gusau said the accusations levelled against him are false and willing to answer the call of the Economy financial crime commission anytime any day.

“I was accused of misappropriation and I submitted myself to be investigated. I was investigated and the accusations were false, I set an example. I’m still available to be investigated for any further investigation.” He said.

He later urged the Federation to be united in order to solve their problems to avoid further setbacks.

“We believe as family, we should be able to solve our matters in the Congress.” He said.
