Nigerian sprinter Grace Nwokocha has been suspended provisionally by the IAAF Integrity Unit.
The world Athletic governing body suspended Nwokocha after finding Prohibited Substances (Ostarine & Ligandrol) in her sample.
Ostarine and Ligandrol are both anabolic agents prohibited by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA).
“The AIU has provisionally suspended Nigerian runner, Nzubechi Grace Nwokocha, for the Presence/Use of Prohibited Substances (Ostarine and Ligandrol),” the body said in a statement.
Nwokocha, 21, anchored Team Nigeria to 4x100m gold at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham and the Country could be strip off the medal and the African record set.
Recall veteran Blessing Okagbare was handed a 10-year ban for doping violations earlier this year.
