Former Super Eagles player Mobi Oparaku insists Victor Osimhen should consider moving to Saudi Arabia if another offer is made for his services.
Oparaku believes Osimhen deserves a big pay day following his achievements in the game and had advised the player to consider his future after football.
Speaking on Brila Media’s “No Holds Barred with Ifeanyi Udeze”, the 48 year-old who played in Belgium and the USA, insists he would have dragged Osimhen to Saudi Arabia himself if he was on the player’s entourage.
Earlier in the season, Napoli were approached by Al Ahli and Al Hilal for their Nigerian forward Victor Osimhen but the player eventually ended up teaming up with Galatasaray.
A frosty relationship between the player and his parent club conspired to botch a likely move to Saudi Arabia.
However, facing a suspension from the first team, Osimhen forced a move on loan to Turkey with Galatasaray until the end of the season.
Oparaku backed the 25 year-old’s decision to leave Napoli, but claims a move to Saudi Arabia for a bumper payday would have been good.
“I see kindergarten players making big moves and Osimhen was denied that opportunity to choose,” Oparaku said.
“Personally, I would have carried Osimhen on a plane to Saudi. If he was my brother, I’d have kidnapped him if necessary.”
