Enugu Rangers forward Ossy Martins has stated that he would have been the League’s Marksman back to back in the NPFL but for injuries that have plagued his Football in the last two seasons after netting twice in Sunday’s 3-0 win for the Flying Antelopes against Kwara united at the Awka city stadium to take his tally to 8 goals this season.
The former Lobi Stars forward who suffered a similar injury-ravaged period in the 2020/2021 NPFL season told www.brila.net that he has been affected a lot by what could have ordinarily been a great season for him after bagging a brace in the first game of the current campaign.
He, however, hopes that he is able to stay fit and continue to score more goals having already missed a couple of games already this season due to injury.
