There have been rumors of dissenting voices in the Super Eagles camp about players who aren’t getting minutes in the team’s AFCON 2019 campaign and Gernot Rohr has for the first time addressed those concerns.
Aside from the players crocked with injuries, a few names in the Super Eagles are yet to get a feel of the action in Egypt or have been handed very few minutes by the Coach.
And in a straight response, Rohr has hit out at the murmurings blaming players of not showing enough commitment.
“We have already 17 or 18 players who have had the rhythm of the competition, it’s not easy to play everybody.
“I’m waiting for some of them to show more investment, more motivation in the training sessions.”
