Ademola Lookman has vowed to come back stronger after missing a last minute penalty in Fulham’s defeat to West Ham United.
Lookman missed glorious opportunity to earn a point for his team at the London stadium on Saturday, after his poor penalty was saved by Lukas Fabianski.
The player was criticised by fans of club, also Fulham manager, Scott Parker didn’t hold back his disappointment during his post match conference.
The on loan striker from RB Leipzig has now vowed to come back stronger after he tendered apology to his teammates and his manager.
“After yesterdays mistake, I take full responsibility and onus for it. To my teammates, manager and the supporters, I vow to put the next one in. I will not let one failure hold me back,” He said.
Lookman has scored just a goal for the struggling newly promoted side since his arrival on loan from Germany in September.
His solitary goal for the Cottagers came in 1 – 1 with Sheffield United last Month.
