Nigerian-born UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman could be facing Irish star Conor McGregor in his next title defense.
Kamaru Usman is the current UFC welterweight and the fans are calling on him to defend the title against former champion Conor McGregor in the Octagon.
Meanwhile Usman’s manager Ali Abdelaziz however openly said his client is willing to offer the former champion a chance to have a shot at the UFC welterweight belt.
“It looks like #1 contender wants to fight Nate Diaz now. Good for him.
Conor McGregor hey you want a title shot? Come to daddy, Usman will give you one and he promise first two rounds without takedowns only slaps.” he said.
Usman who has suffered just a single defeat in his 17 fight, winning won 16 is optimistic he will come and top should both fighter meet before he took to his social media handle to aim a jibe at McGregor who has also suffered just four defeats in 26 fights.
“I really don’t understand why you all want this man DEAD!!! I’d shag him in there if I wanted and he’d “DO NOTHIN” FOH 😒” Usman tweeted.
It would be recalled that defeated former Welterweight Champion Tyron Woodley via unanimous decision on March 2, 2019, in the co-main event at UFC 235.
McGregor outclassed Donald Cerrone with a first-round knock out in another bout on 18 January 2020 at UFC 246.
