Ademola Lookman has expressed his inclination towards the playing style prevalent in England compared to Italy.

Lookman stated that he’s more comfortable with English football and does not rule out a return in the future.

Lookman started his career in England with Charlton Athletics, before joining Everton for £19m.

Following a difficult spell at Merseyside, the Nigeria international moves to RB Leipzig, but later had two loan stints in the Premier League with Fulham, and Leicester City.

The 26-year-old is now with Serie A side Atalanta, but revealed his admiration for English football.

“The Premier League is definitely suited to my style because it’s fast, technical, physical — and it’s the country I grew up in,” the player said.

Lookman is in his second season in Italy, and has been become important player for Atalanta.

“But learning about the culture of football in Italy is really special. The build-up to the games, the atmosphere in the stadium, and the love that the fans have for football. It’s very special.”

Lookman has eight Serie A goals for Atalanta in this ongoing campaign.
