Napoli head coach, Rudi Garcia says Victor Osimhen’s ability of putting the team’s success ahead of personal achievements is a great trait in a player.

Osimhen is the team’s designated penalty taker, but allowed teammate Giacomo Raspadori to take the second penalty kick awarded to the team against Sassuolo over the weekend.​

The Italian eventually missed the kick, but Osimhen was there to console the forward. The Forward’s willingness to support his teammate caught the attention of the coach.

“He is absolutely right! “That is a great sign because it means he is thinking about the team and not just about himself. I loved that,” he told DAZN.

Osimhen was on target during the game as the Partenopei defeated their visitors 2-0 on Sunday.

The 24-year-old has scored three goals in two league outing for the defending Champions this season.
