Innocent Bonke’s Malmo FF suffered heavy defeat in their second UEFA Champions League Group C against Zenith Saint-Petersburg on Wednesday.
Bonke was on from the start, but couldn’t stop his team from going down 4-0 to the Russian giants at the Gazprom Arena.
The one capped Super Eagles star lasted for an hour, before being replace by Peruvian striker Sergio Pena.
Bonke also featured the Malmo’s first Group game in the Champions League against Juventus two weeks ago.
Claudinho gave the hosts the lead on the 9th minute, after being set up by Douglas Santos and it was the only goal that separated both teams going to half time break.
Daler Kuzyaev made it 2-0 for Zenith four minutes into the game, before Sutormin and Windel scored on the 84th and 94th minute to wrap up the game.
