Super Falcons attacker Francisca Ordega has revealed that Arsenal legend Thierry Henry had a big impact on her football career.

 

 

The 26 year old former Washington Spirit, attacker disclosed in a live Instagram interview that the former Monaco and Barcelona forward was the only one who left long lasting impression on her and she’s hoping to follow his footsteps.

 

 

“I started watching him closely and I promised to be a player like him . I love players who can run so well with the ball. I am yet to meet him but I hope to meet him soon because he is my idol.

 

 

Ordega who has played in the United States, Sweden, Spain, Russia and currently in China, admits she’s working hard and hope to secured a dream move to the Gunners in the nearest future.

 

 

“If I am to play for any club in the English FA Women’s Super league, it must be Arsenal because I love everything about theclub.” she said.

 

 

Since modeling her games after the French legend, Ordega has played for Nigeria at all level and scored in all FIFA football competitions, including the U17, U20 and senior women world cup.

 

 

The pacy Benue born forward has also won the African Women’s championship twice with the Falcons and was named woman of the match in the final of the 2018 edition in Ghana.
