Henry Onyekuru has been a free agent since his contract expired with Saudi Pro League club Al-Fayha.
The Nigeria international has been on the radar of various clubs in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Turkey.
Last season was difficult for Onyekuru; he played only 147 minutes in all competitions for Al-Fayha.
Beşiktaş, Başakşehir, and Kocaelispor reportedly presented their projects to the player and even began negotiations, but he rejected them due to not meeting his salary demands.
He has agreed a one-year contract with an option for an additional year, and the contract will be finalized subject to the player completing his medicals.
Onyekuru returns to a league he knows well — he has previously played for Adana Demirspor and Galatasaray.
This move represents a step toward getting his career back on track.
