Bright Ozebagbe has resigned from his position as head coach of Nigeria Premier Football League side Ikorodu City.
The coach cited dissatisfaction with his role, stating that he did not feel happy with the job and believed his efforts were not being appreciated.
The club confirmed his resignation on Monday afternoon.
“Ikorodu City Football Club can confirm the resignation of Bright Ozebagbe as head coach of the team,” the statement read.
“The club received Ozebagbe’s resignation letter last night following the 1-0 defeat to Plateau United in Jos.
“The club will announce a new coach in the coming days.”

Ozebagbe led the team to promotion to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) last season.
However, their debut season in the top-flight division has not gone as planned, as they are yet to secure a win.
The club has only managed to collect one point from five matches so far this season.
