Africa’s most decorated female badminton player and former world number one, Adesokan Dorcas has praised Anuoluwapo Opeyori for his efforts at the Olympic Games.
“He (Opeyori) played wonderfully well, I must say. Like seriously,” said Adesokan.
“He performed wonderfully and I must credit his effort and his performance and to all the subordinates. The people that contribute to the achievements,” She said about the current African number one,
“So as for me, I just feel like we should start planning, thinking of how to pick a game at the Olympic. Not just participating, we should now be focusing on how to win a match.”
Opeyori lost two group stage matches against Tobias Kuenz (Team Switzerland) and Li Shi Feng (Team China) leading to his elimination from the Games.
