Super Eagles forward, Samuel Chukwueze has expressed his appreciation for AC Milan manager Paulo Fonseca, who has shown faith in him during a challenging start to the season.

In recent games, He scored the match-winning goal against Udinese and provided a crucial assist in the game against Club Brugge, showing signs of renewed confidence under Fonseca.
The former Villarreal star, who has one goal and one assist in 12 appearances this season, expressed his gratitude towards Fonseca for trusting him with more game time.
“Fonseca trusts me, he believes in me. I’m happy to have my chance and want to repay the coach’s confidence,” Chukwueze told MilanTV, as quoted by Milan Posts.
Reflecting on his recent improvement, he added, “It’s very important; the coach is giving me confidence in these last two games. Tactics are very important.
“Fonseca always tells me where he wants on the pitch, whether on the right or more central.”
Chukwueze was in action again on Saturday against Monza, where he played 81 minutes and with two shots, contributing to AC Milan’s 1-0 victory.
Since returning from international duty, he has earned consecutive starts, a testament to Fonseca’s growing confidence in his abilities.
Earlier in the season, there were reports suggesting that Chukwueze might leave the club in the January transfer window due to his inconsistent form.
However, with Milan currently sitting 7th in the Serie A standings, Chukwueze hopes to keep building momentum, securing more minutes, and solidifying his place in the squad.
As he continues to work his way back to form, Chukwueze aims to reward Fonseca’s faith and help Milan climb up the league table.
