Ahead of Chelsea’s 2019 Europa league semi-final game, Chelsea fans got a feel of the 2019/2020 season on Thursday as the club revealed a bold new Nike home kit with Eden Hazard front and center of the promo shots on their social media accounts.
Despite strong interest from Real Madrid ahead of the summer transfer window, the Blues supporters must be delighted to see their main man in the new kit, renewing their hope that the club can convince him to stay, despite Zinedine Zidane’s desire to bring him to the Bernabeu.
But fans on social media were quick to slam the design and the cost of the jersey, There are two versions of the kit available to purchase, with the ‘vapor match shirt’ priced at £89.95 and a cheaper ‘stadium shirt’ available for £64.95, while the ‘vapor match’ shorts come in at an eye-watering £54.95, and the ‘stadium’ shorts are £29.95.
There are not yet any 2019-20 socks available for purchase.
