Guinea Bissau are will Be Dangerous — Osimhen

Victor Osimhen has warned his Super Eagles teammates against underestimating Guinea Bissau when the sides meet in their final group match in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, on Monday.

The Djurtus are currently placed bottom of Group A and are yet to register a goal after two round of matches.

Baciro Cande’s men were beaten 2-0 by Cote d’Ivoire in the opening game of the tournament, on Saturday, before losing 4-2 to Equatorial Guinea last Thursday.

Speaking ahead of tomorrow’s game, Osimhen said Guinea Bissau remain a dangerous despite their poor run of results.

“We have to approach the game with the same mentality, because they are dangerous side if you allow them to play.

“In the past we play them and we know what they are capable of doing. So it’s not going to be an easy game, but we’re ready to give everything for our fans and country,” the forward concluded.

While the Djurtus have nothing to play for, the Super Eagles need at least a point from the game to be guaranteed a spot in the round of 16, and likely finish top of Group A.
