Golden Eaglets head coach Manu Garba has set an ambitious goal for his team at the WAFU B U-17 Championship, aiming to reach the final of the tournament.

The championship, taking place in Accra, Ghana, offers the two finalists spots at the Africa U-17 Cup of Nations.

Nigeria who clinched the title in Ghana two years ago, are determined to defend their
crown.

Meanwhile, head Coach of the Eaglets, Manu Garba expressed confidence in his squad’s preparation and focus.

“The players have been responding to training. The weather here is similar to what we experienced in Abuja before our departure,” Garba told thenff.com.

“Our primary objective is to secure one of the two tickets to the Africa U-17 Cup of Nations.

“We will approach the matches one at a time, starting with our opening game against Burkina Faso on Thursday.”

The Eaglets will face Burkina Faso in their opening match on Thursday.
