Super Eagles Goalkeeper Ikechukwu Ezenwa has told www.brila.net his birthday wish is to help Nigeria qualify for the 2020 African Nations Championship.

Ezenwa celebrated his 31st birthday on Wednesday in the Eagles camp preparing for the second-leg of the CHAN qualifying match against Togo.

The 2018 finalist lost 4-1 in the first-leg and with a steep hill to climb, the goalkeeper is hopeful for a change of fortune as a perfect birthday gift.

“I’ve been getting a lot of birthday greetings, from friends, teammates and fans. So, this weekend we’ll be in Lagos where we play against Togo. My birthday wish is to ensure I help the Eagles qualify for the CHAN tournament.”
