Nigerian forward, Gift Orban was sent off during KAA Gent’s League game against KAS Eupen on Sunday.

Orban passed a late fitness to be included in the team, but was a shadow of himself; he was dominated by some impressive defending from Eupen.

The 20-year-old was eventually dismissed just before the interval after he punched one of the defenders in the face due to frustration.

The red card encapsulates Orban’s current struggle after failing to secure a move during the last transfer window.

Despite the setback, The Buffaloes dug deep to win the game 2-1 and established their lead in the Jupiler Pro League.

Gent then leveled up through substitute, Sven Kums, after Milos Pantevic had given Eupen the lead.

Substitute, Tarik Tissoudali then sealed the win with his side’s second goal of the game.
