CAF/FIFA inspection delegation has inspected the Cape Coast Stadium in Ghana ahead of Nigeria vs Ghana world cup playoff on March 25th.
There are concerns about the bad state of the pitch which was worsened after the stadium hosted independence Day parade on 6th March to mark Ghana’s 65th anniversary.
The inspection delegation arrived the Stadium on Monday morning to assess the undulating and patchy turf and its suitability for the big clash between the West African giants in March 25th.
Though renovation works are ongoing but it’s left to be seen if the pitch can return to its lush green state before March 25th.
Our Ghanaian source exclusively told Brila that the delegation will disclose their final decision in the next 72 hours.
It’s a strong possibility that the match might hold at a neutral venue either in Benin or Morocco.
