Rangers boss Gerrard has called on Leon Balogun, Joe Aribo and other players to focus on the Europa League campaign after winning the domestic league.
The Gers emerged Scottish champions for the 55th time in their history last Sunday after rivals Celtic failed to beat Dundee United.
The squad partied after the title was title was confirmed, but Steven Gerrard has challenged his players to put the domestic success behind them and focus on Thursday’s Europa League match with Slavia Prague.
“But we are back in the routine. I spoke to the players yesterday at length and we had a session where we got the legs moving.
“We want to add to what we have already achieved. We have targets, we know how we want the rest of the season to look.
“We have got two incredible fixtures on the horizon in terms of the Europa League.
“We want to go further than we did last year, we want to build on what we have already achieved in Europe this season, which has been fantastic.
“We will tell the players that they need to be ready and they need to be at their very best to complete this challenge because Slavia are a very good team, a very efficient team.
“They are really strong and powerful. They can also play from a technical point of view.
“We are well aware of the size of this challenge. We have to be at our very best to complete it,” Gerrard said as the team depart for Prague, Wednesday.
