Gernot Rohr deserves some accolades, says Okwuosa

Out of favour Super Eagles defender, James Okwuosa has hailed the impact of coach Gernot Rohr in the national team of the  Eagles, stating that the gaffer has really changed the face of the team in recent times.

Nigeria remains unbeaten in competitive fixtures since their return from Russia last year after they failed to make the knockout phase of the FIFA world cup.
As the team gets set to impress ahead of the Nations Cup in Egypt, Okwuosa also added while speaking to brila.net that he has challenged national team players to get better which is why the team is displaying good character at the moment.
“Our coach (Gernot Rohr) now is someone who sees the ability of players and he knows how to use them”.
“And he knows what game to use each player, he has the experience having played abroad and also he has seen things and he knows how football is”.
“It has really been helping the national team because it has ensured that each player is challenged to give his best for the country”.
The Eagles are expected to play a couple of tune-up matches to prepare them for the Nations Cup in Egypt in June.
