Super Eagles Technical Adviser, Gernot Rohr has declared that his wards are focused on the crucial 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Cameroun on Monday night.
The Rohr led Nigeria team tamed the Indomitable Lions 4-0 in a Group B match last Friday at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium.
The team arrived in a Yaounde on Sunday afternoon ahead of the battle away from home.
And Rohr has tipped his wards for a good outing.
“We want to have a good result. They (Cameroun) will want to take a revenge following a loss to us last Friday,” Rohr told reporters, including brila.net.
”They have their fans behind them. It will be tough but we would be ready.
“They will have a lot of aggression on their part. This is a physical team and we should be ready for what they will throw at us. I trust my boys to give them a good match.”
Meanwhile, The Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) president Amaju Pinnick says urged Super Eagles not to underestimate Cameroon on Tuesday.
The Super Eagles humiliated Cameroon 4-0 in the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifying match at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo on Friday.
The Indomitable Lions will now host Nigeria in the return leg match at the Stade Omnisports Ahmadou Ahidjo in Yaounde on Monday.
“The Cameroonians will come at us with everything on Monday, knowing they have to get a result and with anger born out of their humiliation in Uyo,” Pinnick told the NFF official website.
